There are several language apps out there to help digital nomads with navigating a language barrier in the destinations they want to explore. We’ve put together some apps that we’ve found useful in getting to know a language quicker.

The world has never been more interconnected and the adventure of setting out as a digital nomad has been easier. Knowing the local language unlocks a different experience when navigating through your destinations. There are several apps available that gets you speaking another language and making connections that might otherwise be missed. We’ve listed the top 5 programs we’ve enjoyed using to help you get chatting with ease.    

  1. Duolingo   Duolingo pioneers language learning apps with a gamified approach to mastering a new language. Covering a wide range of languages and providing a solid foundation in vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. The bite size lessons and progress tracking offers a unique experience for anyone to learn the basics or enhance their language skills in their own time.

A great tool to quickly apply the phrases you’re learning with practical situations you could encounter whilst travelling.
